Los Angeles - Special Education/IDEA Litigation & Employment Associate
Littler Mendelson P.C. is seeking an attorney with a minimum of 2 years' experience in special education, i.e., individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) litigation to join the Los Angeles office. The candidate must possess excellent research, writing, organizational, and communication skills. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to work both cooperatively with others and independently, as circumstances demand, and must show a strong ability to take initiative, problem-solve, and follow through on projects. The attorney would be tasked with advising public school districts on compliance with the IDEA and represent them in IEP team meetings and assist with due process hearings before the California Office of Administrative hearings. The candidate must be licensed to prac
