Counsel, Litigation Attorney
The New York Times Company is looking for an attorney in its legal department, to be lead litigation counsel on commercial matters with support from our in-house team and to play a key role in corporate compliance. The attorney will also assist our in-house litigation team on libel, copyright, and related matters. Because the department handles much of its litigation in-house, the position requires someone with the ability to do hands-on litigation work. The position also requires outstanding research and writing skills. The legal department of The New York Times works throughout the entire organization and partners closely with teams on the widest range of legal and compliance matters.
