Position Overview: The Senior Director, Legal provides strategic legal advice and direction on a broad range of matters impacting over 100 attractions across nine countries. The ideal candidate will combine deep legal expertise with sound business judgment and a practical, first-hand approach.
Experience:5+ years of relevant legal experience, in order of priority, with commercial real estate, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, commercial contracts and insurance matters. Experience working in the attractions or hospitality industry is preferred but not required. This is a lean legal department with one paralegal and no other lawyers.
Location: Orlando, Florida – must be in the office five days per week.
Relocation: Yes, this is a national search, local candidates preferred.
In-office Requirements: The successful candidate is expected to be in the office five days per week. 20% travel primarily for specific project-related meetings and attractions visits required.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience. The package includes base salary, target bonus, and benefits.
Bar: Admission to a Bar of any jurisdiction in the United States and with the ability to become licensed to practice in Florida as in-house counsel.
