Overview: The Patent Counsel of Acushnet will be primarily responsible for enhancing the patent position of Titleist golf clubs, with respect to the Company’s competitors.  The Patent Counsel’s duties include efficiently evaluating inventions, preparing, and filing applications, obtaining patents, enhancing the quality of the patents and the patent portfolio, assisting with product clearances, assisting and educating R&D in product and research direction, and mentoring junior patent attorneys and support staff.

Experience: 3+ years; The successful candidate will be Patent Bar and State Bar-certified and will have 3+ years of patent law experience.  A degree in mechanical engineering, materials science/engineering, physics, or related field is strongly preferred.
