T-Mobile has an exciting opportunity for an Immigration Paralegal to work in the Legal Department at its corporate headquarters in Bellevue, WA. This position will partner closely with attorneys, paralegals, and cross-functional partners to deliver premium people experience to our sponsored employees and stakeholders.
What you’ll do in your role.
Conduct pre-employment assessments for sponsored roles.
Prepare and post Labor Condition Applications (LCAs) in compliance with Department of Labor regulations.
Conduct pre-hire assessments to ensure candidates meet immigration requirements.
Maintain and update public access files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
Assist with the preparation and filing of immigration petitions and applications.
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and documentation.
Draft immigration travel-related documents, including business travel letters.
Prepare and generate reports on case statuses, compliance metrics, and other relevant data for internal review and decision-making.
Handle employment verification requests from the Department of State and ensure accurate and timely responses.
The experience you’ll bring.
3 + years of experience with immigrant and non-immigrant corporate legal immigration experience (in-house strongly preferred).
Knowledge of employment-sponsored visas (e.g., H-1B, L-1, O-1, J-1) and related processes.
Ability to work independently and in collaboration with peers and leadership.
Experience utilizing independent judgment while implementing company policies and practices to determine appropriate actions.
Excellent written and oral communication
Ability to work collaboratively, manage and initiate effective cross-functional relationships.
High personal and professional integrity, detail-orientation
Experience with MS Office Suite, Immigration case management databases, and Applicant Tracking Systems.
Experience with Workday, iManage, and matter management tools.
Education
2-years college degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent work experience
