Holland & Hart is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to support commercial litigation and energy/environmental litigation matters in-person in its Billings office or remotely from Helena.

Position Requirements

Ideal candidates will have 2-4 years of top tier law firm experience in complex litigation matters, including energy, environmental litigation or property rights litigation matters, and excellent legal research and writing skills. We are seeking candidates who have an energetic personality, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. Preferred candidates will possess a strong academic background, practical law school experience (law review, law journal, moot court, or trial advocacy team), and/or judicial clerkship experience. Professional references are required.

Compensation and Expectations

Holland & Hart’s compensation is merit-based—you’ll be evaluated on your individual performance and achievements and on your contributions to the team’s efforts. Our generous bonus program rewards financial contributions and hard work and associates are also eligible for fee splits.

Holland & Hart expects associates to invest 1800 hours on billable matters, 75 hours of pro bono/public service work (or 50 hours of pro bono legal work), in addition to at least 25 hours dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
