Position Overview: Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary, the Associate General Counsel – Corporate and M&A will be a visible position responsible for legal strategy and execution as a critical part of a senior team collaborating on all M&A activities across the Company, consistent with Apex’s overall business goals. In addition, the Assistant General Counsel will be the lead legal counsel for a corporate function to support designated business units and will advise the business leaders on legal, compliance, and other business elements of the applicable business.

Experience: 7+ years of corporate, mergers & acquisitions, and other transactional practice experience, preferably with a mix of law-firm experience and in-house experience.

Location: Dallas, Texas in a hybrid work environment (in-office 4 days/week). Preference for Dallas and local candidates preferred.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience. The package includes base salary, target bonus, long term incentive, and benefits.
