Keller and Heckman LLP, an international law firm, with an established food law practice has an immediate need for an associate with 3+ years of experience to work in their Washington, DC Office on food law matters involving products regulated by FDA and USDA. Work will include advising clients on food safety and food labeling/claims matters, as well as establishing an appropriate regulatory status for various ingredients. In addition to FDA and USDA experience, experience with Agency rulemaking proceedings and familiarity with matters involving other federal agencies such as FTC, CBP or TTB are desirable. Strong academic credentials; excellent analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills; a sincere interest in food law; and the ability to assume immediate responsibility are required.
