argenx US, Inc. has exclusively retained Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA) to conduct a search for a US Commercial and Regulatory Counsel to be based in Boston, MA on a hybrid schedule.

Overview

argenx US, Inc. is seeking to fill the role of a US Commercial and Regulatory Counsel (“Counsel”). Reporting to the Head of Legal-Americas, the Counsel will be a trusted business partner and problem-solver on a wide range of legal and compliance matters, serving as a key member of the global legal, compliance, and IP team with responsibility for providing legal, regulatory, and strategic advice in support of the development, launch and commercialization of argenx’s in-line products. This role will be at the Associate Director or Director level (based on experience) and will initially support teams advancing hematology and dermatology indications for the company’s flagship product, efgartigimod, available for intravenous infusion (VYVGART) and subcutaneous injection (VYVGART Hytrulo).

Experience

The successful candidate will hold a J.D. and have a minimum of 5 years of legal experience in the biopharmaceutical industry and/or a law firm, with focused expertise in the areas of commercial healthcare and regulatory law related to the development and commercialization of biopharmaceutical products. Experience working in both a law firm and a commercial-stage biotech/pharmaceutical company is strongly preferred.

Compensation

A competitive compensation package is offered for this position commensurate with experience, and will include base salary, annual target cash bonus, and equity.

Location

Boston, MA on a hybrid schedule (in office:  about 2 days/week).
