Overview:
Reporting to the EVP & GC, the Senior Legal Counsel will provide strategic legal advice and counsel to internal business partners with respect to all legal matters related to exploration, production and development projects and finance, which includes identifying and providing solutions to mitigate business and legal risk.

Experience:
8+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment with evolving business needs and excellent risk management judgment, a minimum of 3 years at a highly regarded global law firm, in-depth knowledge and understanding of the technical, contractual, and commercial aspects of oil and gas operations, strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to assess and articulate complex and nuanced legal issues clearly and concisely.

Bar:
Active bar membership in good standing in the United States and/or England with ability to act as corporate counsel in the State of Texas.
