Moore & Van Allen's Charlotte office is seeking an Associate to join its Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice group, which represents public and privately owned companies in a variety of employee benefit and executive compensation matters, including, mergers and acquisitions, employment and bonus agreements, employee benefit plan drafting and compliance matters and guidance, structuring and drafting incentive compensation plans and ESOPs.
The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of employee benefits and executive compensation experience, including representation of clients in the merger and acquisition context. Business background and the ability to grasp the impact of employee benefits and executive compensation matters on business concepts quickly are highly valued. Job will entail extensive client contact providing pragmatic counsel. Candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication ability, a sound background in a broad range of employee benefit and executive compensation matters, a willingness to ask questions and learn, and a desire to work in a team-oriented environment.
