We are a leading pharmaceutical company looking for a Paralegal to join our legal team. As a Paralegal, you will be responsible for providing legal support to in-house counsel, business stakeholders, and outside counsel with every aspect of litigation, investigations, and subpoenas. You will also lead certain matters with little to no in-house counsel involvement and be primary liaison with business stakeholders in gathering information and securing assistance in litigation or investigations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provides support for all aspects of litigation, investigations, and third-party information requests.
Assists with budgeting, billing management, and internal reporting.
Conducts research and analysis, including corresponding with internal/external counsel, business stakeholders, and third parties when necessary.
Leads communications between internal and external parties and manage partnerships.
Performs administrative duties such as processing of incoming complaints, arranging witness interviews, calendar hearings/deadlines, organize electronic files/databases, and manage logistics.
Identifies areas of process improvement and/or training and development needs for internal and external parties.
Requirements:
At least five to ten (5-10) years relevant experience, of which two (2) years are healthcare related, that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified in this job profile.
Undergraduate degree required.
Paralegal certification at an accredited institution preferred.
Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures.
Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
