We have an immediate opening for a Labor & Employment Associate with two to four years of experience. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate that they have, in addition to general labor and employment experience, experience preparing Affirmative Action Plans, advising on 41 C.F.R. Part 60 compliance, and conducting and/or defending audits/investigations by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs.
Candidates should have an active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which they are applying or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible. Candidates currently practicing in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and admitted to practice in Virginia or Maryland are preferred, though we will consider candidates in all markets where we have a physical office.
The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, a commitment to the community, superior interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action.

Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position in Denver, Los Angeles, and Oakland only is $210,000 to $240,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salaries in all other markets will vary depending on market data. Associates are eligible for an Associate Performance Bonus and Client Development Bonus.
