Acrisure LLC has engaged Major, Lindsey & Africa on an exclusive basis to conduct a search for an VP, Deputy General Counsel – Employment to be located in its Grand Rapids, Michigan office. The company is an equal opportunity employer.

Overview: The Employment Counsel will be tasked with providing both strategic and tactical employment law advice and guidance to Human Resources and business leadership. Additionally, this person will be responsible for partnering with the General Counsel and CHRO to manage and handle all employment-related matters in the Company.

The Company has grown revenue from $38 million to $4 billion in just over nine years and has locations in sixteen countries. Acrisure is the intelligence-driven financial services distribution platform of the future.

Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience.

Location: Grand Rapids, MI (preferred). Open to remote for the ideal candidate willing to travel. Acrisure has a hybrid 3 days in-office policy.

Relocation: No.

Experience: The successful candidate will have 10+ years of experience gained in a law firm and/or an in-house legal department handling sophisticated employment matters. Experience managing EPLI litigation matters is preferred.

Bar: Active member of one US State Bar or ability to become registered In-House Counsel.
