Overview: This senior-level position will serve as the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer for Orthofix. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer of Orthofix with direct access to Orthofix’s Board of Directors, this role will advise and make recommendations concerning Orthofix’s Compliance Program and Orthofix’s adherence to global compliance program policies and procedures as well as related legal and regulatory requirements.

Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
Location: Lewisville, TX (a Dallas suburb in close proximity to downtown Dallas). This is not a remote role.
Experience: The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and law degree (preferred) with a minimum of ten+ years of compliance program experience. There is a strong preference for experience with a medical device manufacturer or pharmaceutical manufacturer; alternatively, extensive experience in healthcare compliance, FDA regulations or other similar regulatory environment is required. More specifically, experience evaluating and understanding health care fraud, abuse laws, fraud issues in sales and marketing environment is highly-desired, as is deep experience with state and federal health care laws and regulations, DMEPOS or Durable Medical Equipment (DME).
Travel: Travel within the United States and internationally is required.
