Mondelez International, Inc. (“Mondelez”) has engaged Major, Lindsey & Africa on an exclusive basis to conduct a search for a Director, Senior Counsel, Corporate Governance & Compliance (“Senior Counsel”).

Position: The Senior Counsel will report to the SVP & Chief Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer & Corporate Secretary. The Senior Counsel has primary responsibilities for managing and supporting all aspects of the Mondelez global corporate governance and compliances operations, including the Board of Directors and business leaders across the Company, corporate governance, general corporate matters and organization, financing activities, records, and reporting. In addition, the Senior Counsel will advise the business on risk, anticipating and addressing internal and external factors, direct other legal colleagues in the execution of its legal approach, and decide the direction to address legal issues or concerns in developing and implementing Mondelez’s global compliance program in accordance with laws and regulations ensuring that the Company exercises due diligence and sound internal controls to operate with integrity and protect against legal risk.

Experience: The successful candidate will have at least five (5) years of experience practicing U.S. corporate law, preferably including a demonstrated expertise in corporate and compliance laws and related public company matters, disclosures, and board and committee operations for a company similar in size, scope, and complexity to Mondelez’s operations.

Location: Global Headquarters – Chicago, IL (Hybrid – at least 50% of time spent in person onsite).

Bar Admission: Licensed to practice law in Illinois or eligible for admission upon hire.
