Position: The Principal, Assistant General Counsel, will provide legal counsel to internal business clients on both routine and complex matters regarding legal risk and specifically collaborating with internal clients to structure transactions, drafting language and agreements to address new offerings and strategic relationships, and negotiate transactions that meet OCC’s business objectives. The position will also support certain functional and inter-departmental legal matters, as assigned by Associate General Counsel.
Location: Based in Chicago, Illinois. Relocation support is possible as this is a national search.
Experience: A J.D. and at least 5+ years of transaction-based legal experience at a law firm and/or in-house legal department with a focus on technology transactions. Prior experience with Software as a Service (SaaS), managed services and software license delivery models. Competency in structuring technology relationships and agreements with attention to detail and strong drafting skills.
