OU Health, headquartered in Oklahoma City, OK seeks a mission-driven, collaborative executive to serve as its next Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary. Reporting to Richard P. Lofgren, M.D., MPH, FACP, President and Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors of OU Health, the CLO and Corporate Secretary will serve as a legal advisor to OU Health's senior leadership team and Board of Directors. The CLO will advise the Board and CEO of corporate governance issues and administer corporate strategic and tactical legal initiatives and support, as well as System's Law department, Contracts Administration department, and Ethics and Compliance (E&C) program. In addition, the CLO will oversee outside counsel and provide guidance on all legal initiatives, including advising on corporate and commercial transactions, litigation, employment, regulatory matters, intellectual property, and other system development and integration aspects.
The individual selected for this position will be a strategic, proactive attorney who is well-versed in the healthcare industry's business dynamics, corporate governance, and regulatory environment. In addition, they are politically astute, innovative, and someone who creates solutions that facilitate the health system strategy across the missions of research, education, and clinical care. The next CLO will be an actively engaged leader with mature interpersonal skills who adds a strong health law background to the team.
