Venable LLP's Land Use and Zoning group seeks an associate to join the practice in the Tysons and DC office.
The qualified candidate has a minimum two years of experience in zoning and land use, real estate, or related fields, preferably including contact with all levels of local government staff and elected officials. Experience with rezonings, special use permits, comprehensive plan amendments, and proffer statements strongly preferred. The successful candidate is a driven and detailed-oriented critical thinker with excellent writing and editing skills, strong research and analysis skills, and polished presentation skills.
