This experienced transactional attorney, working in the Legal Department, will provide legal advice and support primarily to T-Mobile’s wholesale organization, a growing area of the business which enables third party resellers to offer services to their customers. The 5G revolution is just getting started and will bring a new wave of network connectivity to the “internet of things” (IoT). Join the group of attorneys and legal professionals helping bring IoT resellers and other MVNOs into the T-Mobile family. This attorney will also support T-Mobile’s international IoT business! As part of this team you will work closely with the business units and other support organizations to negotiate and draft transactional agreements, solve problems with creative solutions, and provide sound legal advice and legal risk assessment.
Drafting, analyzing, interpreting, and negotiating a wide range of complex commercial agreements
Handling operational matters
Providing general legal advice, creative problem solving and guiding the business in assessing risk in the context of broader strategic imperatives.
U.S. law degree
7+ years of experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial transactions.
Strong understanding of technology, wireless services, and transactional legal work, as well as a demonstrated ability to recognize and weigh business and legal risks, think strategically and advance practical solutions.
Customer-oriented interpersonal skills, excellent business judgment, and a proven ability to excel working with multiple clients in a fast-paced environment are also required.
Candidate must be detail-oriented and have the aptitude for, and a strong motivation to obtain, a deep and broad knowledge of wireless products and services.
Experience working in-house combined with prior law firm experience is desired
