McDermott is seeking a 1st – 4th year Associate for our Litigation Practice Group who is prepared to assist primarily with ERISA litigation matters. While no pre-existing ERISA litigation experience is required, we are looking to hire a candidate who is willing to learn and focus their practice primarily in that area. Topics will include 401(k) class action litigation, Employer Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)-related litigation, Department of Labor investigations, and denial of benefits claims.

Must be barred and in good standing in the state of Illinois
Must have outstanding academic credentials from a top-tier school and strong writing skills
General litigation experience, including complex commercial litigation or experience with ERISA litigation preferred
