Ahlers & Cooney, PC is seeking an entry level Iowa attorney to work in the Public Law Practice area, specifically with the Collective Bargaining/Labor Law Practice group. 

Skill set:

*Strong analytical, writing and interpersonal skills.

*Ability to work independently

*Strong research skills

*Well organized and able to handle multiple transactions concurrently.

*Superior communication skills.

*High proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite, document management software, and the ability to learn new software applications.

*Experience and comfort level with public speaking.

The firm represents many Iowa municipalities and public bodies on a variety of levels. The firm has a rich tradition of being on the forefront of municipal law in Iowa, with strong litigation, higher education, K-12 education, corporate, employment/labor, and public finance practice areas. 

Education, training, experience:

*J.D. with excellent credentials from ABA accredited, nationally recognized law school.

*Currently licensed or willing to become licensed in the state of Iowa
