Overview: As Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary (the “General Counsel” or “GC”), of Barnes, the successful candidate will serve as the primary and lead legal advisor to the CEO, the Company’s senior leadership team (SLT) and the Board of Directors. Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer, the General Counsel is the chief legal officer of the Company and a senior member of the officer leadership team. The General Counsel will lead, manage and supervise Barnes’ legal services function, including stockholder relations, health, safety and environmental affairs, international trade compliance, securities, corporate governance, and government contracts compliance.
