A broader question you probably have is “how will this position enhance my legal skills and career trajectory?”  At Stoel Rives, we offer a unique lateral integration program and core competency model that is designed to promote the skills, abilities, and behaviors our lawyers should develop as they gain professional experience and make career progress at the firm. We established a New Lawyer Integration Program that has deepened our relationships and connections with our new lawyers, while providing them with the mentoring, resources, and information necessary for success.

What We Are Doing to Ensure A Diverse and Inclusive Environment

Stoel Rives places a high priority on implementing new approaches to attract and retain lawyers with different backgrounds and life experiences. Creating and sustaining partnerships with organizations that share this value is a key strategic component in this process. To that end, we have partnered with Diversity Lab to implement innovative programs to help advance Stoel Rives’ diversity and inclusion goals, including as one of five founding Move the Needle Fund firms.

Examples of other recent D&I efforts include certification with the Mansfield Rule, along with participation in the OnRamp Fellowship and OnTrack Sponsorship.
