SENIOR OFFICER - ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR (CHIEF LITIGATION COUNSEL)
The Division of Enforcement is seeking applicants to fill the position of Chief Litigation Counsel. The successful candidate will be assigned to the Office of Chief Litigation Counsel, Division of Enforcement, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. This position requires a one year Senior Officer (SO) trial period. The full performance level of this position is SO-2. Locations: Washington, DC, and New York, NY Duties The Division of Enforcement investigates possible violations of securities laws, recommends Commission action when appropriate, either in federal court or before an administrative law judge, and negotiates settlements.
