Venable LLP’s Intellectual Property Group seeks a Patent Prosecution and Counseling Associate with 5-6 years of experience with patent prosecution, excellent academic credentials, and strong writing skills and analytical ability to join the practice in New York. The qualified candidate must show competence in understanding chemical structures and properties. A degree in Chemistry or Biology is a must, though candidates with a Ph.D. or an M.S. with appropriate experience are preferred.  Candidates must have a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school, be admitted to and in good standing with the New York bar, and have a PTO registration number. Please include graduate and undergraduate transcripts along with law school transcript with submissions.  Venable's IP L
