The Associate Vice President Legal – Global Ethics & Compliance is the senior attorney managing the global enterprise ethics and compliance program and is responsible for prevention, detection and response to activities posing legal risk and/or unethical behavior. This includes the tracking, trending and implementing of process, procedure and training activities for ethics and legal compliance issues. The attorney will direct compliance program activities designed to strengthen adherence to the enterprise Code of Conduct as well as other key policies and requirements. The attorney will lead and/or appoint identified delegates to investigate potential violations of law and/or applied policy and ethics. This leadership position will be responsible for providing advice and counsel, as well as program and policy development, on a wide range of topics including: conflicts of interest, internal and external investigations, ethics hotline administration, due diligence queries, risk assessments, compliance audits, and litigation support. This position reports to the Vice President Legal, Ethics & Compliance and will manage a team of two direct reports.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or as in-house counsel, including demonstrated knowledge of regulations and best practices applicable to corporate compliance programs and records management; experience conducting/managing internal investigations and matters involving anti-corruption compliance, conflicts of interest, fraud and employee misconduct; and experience managing compliance risk assessments and developing ethics and compliance policies, procedures, job aids and training programs. Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and develop a team is required.
