The New York office of Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP seeks an associate to join the Global Privacy and Cybersecurity practice group. Candidates should have at least two to four years of experience, which includes handling privacy and data security matters. Ideally, the candidate will have experience assisting with one or more of the following: (i) security breach response and preparedness activities, (ii) compliance with existing and emerging privacy law frameworks in the US and internationally; and/or iii) regulatory investigations relating to privacy and data security issues. Large law firm experience, an excellent academic record, exceptional analytical and writing skills, and a keen interest in the field of privacy and data security is desired. Candidates should also have the desire to be part of an internationally-recognized privacy practice while working as a true team player in a collegial environment.
