Position Overview: This is an exciting opportunity to join the highly collaborative and experienced legal team of an established and public pharmaceutical company. The successful candidate will gain extensive experience with industry-specific contract drafting and negotiation, public disclosure, compliance, and dispute resolution. Lantheus trains and develops its lawyers with the expectation that, should they choose, they will one day become the general counsel of a life sciences company.
Company: Lantheus develops, manufactures and commercializes essential agents and products in echocardiography, nuclear imaging, and oncologic therapeutics that help healthcare professionals better detect and characterize, or rule out, disease, potentially achieving improved patient outcomes, reducing patient risk and limiting overall costs for payers and the entire healthcare system. In addition to its current portfolio of twelve commercial products, Lantheus has an extensive pipeline of product candidates (developed either internally or with partners). Lantheus has over 600 employees with operations in the U.S. Canada and Sweden.
Location: This position will reside at the Lantheus headquarters in North Billerica, Massachusetts, which is roughly 25 miles northwest of Boston. Residing in or relocating to the area is preferred.
Compensation: Competitive base and bonus commensurate with experience.
Experience: The ideal candidate will have five to eight years of broad corporate, commercial, and transactional experience; a significant amount gained at a top law firm. In addition, they should have some recent public company experience. Experience in the life sciences sector, particularly with a pharmaceutical company, is preferred but not required.
