The Boeing Company is conducting a search for a Senior Counsel, Labor & Employment located in St. Louis, Missouri.   The position will provide legal advice to internal clients on a wide variety of labor and employment matters and manage employment-related litigation.  It will interface directly with business leaders, Human Resources professionals, and other company attorneys and executives in all aspects of the enterprise, and at all levels of the company. 

This experienced labor and employment law attorney will:

• Provide advice and counsel to executives and managers of Boeing’s business units and subsidiaries, Human Resources, Labor/Employee Relations, Ethics, and investigatory teams.
• Manage and oversee outside counsel on single-plaintiff and class action employment litigation and administrative claims (g., ADA, FMLA, ADEA, Title VII, FLSA, SCA, retaliation, whistleblower, and similar state-law claims), including establishing and supervising litigation and outside counsel budgets.
• Represent the Company’s interests in matters before the EEOC and U.S. DOL, as well as state agencies on discrimination complaints, audits, mediation, and administrative proceedings.
• Handle traditional labor matters as required, in partnership with internal subject matter experts. Prior labor experience not required.
• Provide employment and labor guidance and assistance on mergers and acquisitions, including but not limited to due diligence, transactional agreements, retention agreements, and other employment-related agreements,
• Provide training and legal updates on labor/employment law developments.
