Varnum LLP is seeking an associate to join the Real Estate practice team in our newly opened Naples, Florida office. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of legal experience, with law firm experience strongly preferred. This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in joining a growing office of a highly regarded Michigan-based law firm with a national client base.

The associate will assist the team with the sale, acquisition and financing of commercial real estate. Expertise is required in organizational documents, operating agreements, title/survey review and closing checklists, as well as with commercial lease negotiations and amendments.

Successful candidates will possess excellent academic credentials; the ability to simultaneously juggle multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of responsiveness; exceptional attention to detail; and outstanding customer/client service skills. Admission to the Florida bar is preferred, but not required, for immediate consideration.
