Littler Mendelson P.C. is seeking a Littler CaseSmart Counsel, Charges attorney, an alternative track position. A Littler CaseSmart Counsel, Charges attorney is a law firm employee who works from their home and is not on shareholder track. The position is well suited for a lawyer who is looking for interesting, challenging work and a more flexible work schedule. An incumbent in the Littler CaseSmart Counsel, Charges attorney position will, among other things, be responsible for the defense of each administrative agency charge assigned to them from assignment and investigation through to the conclusion of the charge which may involve drafting supplemental position statements, responses to agency requests for information, and/or other communications with the agency and client, and may be called upon to represent clients in mediation and/or informal settlement negotiations. Attorneys with a minimum of 6 years of substantive employment litigation experience (including experience working with the EEOC and other related agencies, drafting persuasive position statements and representing clients at hearing/mediations) in a law firm are strongly preferred. Qualified candidates must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of residence. During employment, the incumbent must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice.
