Position Overview: The University is seeking an attorney with 8+ years of experience handling labor and employment matters at a law firm or in an in-house legal department; experience handling employment matters for a higher education institution a plus. The individual will provide legal counsel to University administrators, including senior management, and provide advice on all aspects of employment-related legal issues. The labor and employment Associate Legal Counsel will report to the University’s Chief Legal Officer and will also work closely with other Associate Legal Counsel.
Compensation: Competitive base, commensurate with experience.
Experience: 8+ years of experience handling labor and employment matters at a law firm or in an in-house legal department; experience handling employment matters for a higher education institution a plus.
Bar: Must be licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and eligible to become a member of the Pennsylvania Bar.
