Cozen O'Connor has continued to expand its west coast presence and now seeks associates for our expanding Labor & Employment Department, with openings in the San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego and Santa Monica offices. The ideal candidate will have had at least three years of experience practicing employment law. Labor experience is preferred, but not required. Candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent written and oral advocacy skills and the ability to perform experience appropriate tasks with minimal supervision. A strong academic record and California Bar membership required.
Our labor and employment attorneys regularly litigate wrongful termination cases, employee unfair competition/trade secrets disputes, wage and hour class actions, and discrimination, disability accommodation and sexual harassment lawsuits and practice before arbitrators and the NLRB regarding labor matters on behalf of management. We help clients navigate state, local, and federal laws and regulations and develop and implement policies and procedures designed to avoid costly litigation. This associate would work with our outstanding labor and employment attorneys across the country, some of the nation's leading practitioners in the field, and help deepen our west coast presence during a period of strategic growth for our firm.
