Overview: The Assistant General Counsel, Product will serve as a legal business partner to PagerDuty’s internal business, security, and technology teams. Reporting to SVP, General Counsel & Secretary, Stacey Giamalis, this attorney will support the product lifecycle, and will oversee all product legal and compliance matters, including data privacy, patents, open source, branding, export compliance, security and product in-licensing matters.

Compensation: Competitive compensation package, consisting of a base salary, bonus, and equity will be offered for this position, consistent with the candidate’s level of experience.
Relocation: Yes, but locals strongly preferred.
Experience: 7-11 years of information technology legal experience, including 5-11 years of primarily product legal experience. In-house experience at a technology company is required. Significant experience with product legal and compliance matters, including open source, data privacy, intellectual property, export controls and product in-licensing matters. Experience with SaaS products strongly preferred. Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning also a plus.
