This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and collegial legal team as a Director and Corporate Counsel. This role is responsible for leading and managing StoneMor’s claims and litigation matters, which may include: general liability, commercial disputes, personal injury and tort related cases. This role will be the primary point of contact with insurance claims agents and outside counsel, and have responsibility for reviewing pleadings, motions and briefs, and coordinating responses to discovery requests. This position reports directly to and works closely with the Assistant General Counsel and will also have interaction with the General Counsel and the rest of the legal team.

3-5 years of litigation experience in a law firm, handling all aspects of litigation. Candidates must exercise initiative and possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational/management skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to engage personnel across all levels of StoneMor.
