Our client, National Association of College and University Attorneys (“NACUA” or “Association”) has exclusively retained Major, Lindsey & Africa to conduct a search for an Assistant Director of Legal Resources, to be located in Washington, D.C.
Overview: NACUA is a membership-based, non-profit organization whose mission is to advance the effective practice of higher education attorneys for the benefit of the colleges and universities they serve. The Association produces a variety of legal resources, offers continuing legal education and provides assistance in a multitude of other ways in support of counsel for higher education institutions. The Assistant Director of Legal Resources will work closely with NACUA’s Director of Legal Resources and NACUA members and will manage the Association’s online legal resources.
Experience: J.D. from an accredited law school. Minimum of three years of experience obtained as a practicing attorney and/or working with educational programming. Familiarity with higher education and or legal/education programming is highly desirable.
Relos: Yes, although local candidates are preferred.
Bar: Must be licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
