Overview: The Senior Director, Associate General Counsel, U.S. Specialty, is responsible for the oversight and management of the legal matters impacting Teva’s Specialty Medicines business in the United States. This includes the ability to proactively and effectively lead and manage, both directly and indirectly, the legal professionals who support the local market activities. The Senior Director, Associate General Counsel, U.S. Specialty will be expected to provide business-oriented legal advice, with a keen focus on supporting the company’s top-line revenue and pursuing strategies that generate incremental value for Teva.

Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of legal practice with considerable exposure to the laws and regulations pertaining to the development and commercialization of pharmaceutical products. The successful candidate will have the proven ability to operate in a matrixed corporate environment, with cross-functional and cross-cultural exposure a key component to success in this role. The proven ability to lead teams to achieve organizational goals is required, as is a willingness to apply subject matter expertise to specific problems or challenges that arise across the enterprise.
Relocation: Local candidates are strongly preferred.
Bar Admission: Member in good standing of the bar of the state of New Jersey or admission to a state bar of any jurisdiction in the United States with the ability to gain admission to practice in New Jersey as an “In-House Counsel” pursuant to the applicable New Jersey Supreme Court Rules.
