Sentara Healthcare seeks an accomplished, senior lawyer to serve as its Deputy General Counsel or as Associate General Counsel depending on experience.
In addition to the requisite JD and license to practice in a state, broad knowledge and experience in health care regulatory, transactions and compliance, and/or health insurance, is expected. While experience is measured by more than just years of practice we generally expect approximately 20 years of experience or more for the Deputy role, approximately 12 or more years for the Associate role. In all cases, both law firm and in-house experience preferred.
