About the Role:
The attorney in this position will be responsible for providing advice and assistance on the many federal and state privacy laws that impact Capital One’s businesses, with a particular focus on data security and third-party data sharing. Working closely with business, compliance, and risk partners, you will be a go-to resource across the company on privacy, data protection, and related legal issues. You’ll need strong analytical and organizational skills, great judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, large volumes of work, and complex legal issues that may arise suddenly. We want someone with an ownership mentality but who enjoys being part of a team and can interact with and influence across departments and job levels. A good sense of humor is a plus!
