Seeking a lawyer with approximately 4-7 years’ experience at a law firm, government agency or in-house legal department to join Endeavor’s Compliance team. The ideal candidate has assisted in the building, implementation and execution of global compliance programs. This position reports to the Chief Compliance Officer.
Primary Responsibilities include:
Partner with members of the Compliance Team and other stakeholders to help develop and implement effective compliance polices, controls and procedures.
Provide day-to-day advice for all business units, with focus on client representation, content, production and studios businesses, in key risk areas including conflicts of interest, fiduciary duties, antitrust, anti-corruption, sanctions, and gifts and business entertainment.
Assist in development and implementation of workflows to effectively track, manage, audit and approve business gifts, hospitality and entertainment; outside investments and potential conflicts of interest; and engagement of third parties. Lead training sessions, both in-person and by video or teleconference, and assist in the development of online training modules for deliver to internal stakeholders and third party representatives on compliance with Company policies and procedures.
Coordinate with others on the Compliance Team and in the Legal Department to anticipate and understand changing business models and develop corresponding processes to ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Work closely with the corporate compliance group and audit team to monitor business adherence to compliance program, including developing effective audit strategies, engaging business managers in the process, devising appropriate follow-up steps.
Monitor updates to laws and regulations, assess the impact on current Endeavor systems and processes, and modify processes and procedures as necessary to ensure compliance.
Assist with various compliance projects and perform other compliance program-related duties as needed.
JD from accredited US law school
CCEP or equivalent certification a plus
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a compliance professional with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the required elements of effective compliance programs
