Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA) has been exclusively retained by Ashton Woods Homes (Company) to conduct a search for a Corporate Counsel - Real Estate Transactions position.
Overview: Ashton Woods Homes is seeking an experienced transactional real estate lawyer to join the legal department. Broad transactional real estate experience including drafting and negotiating agreements (purchase and sale agreements, financing agreements, joint development agreements, etc.); identifying and analyzing areas of risk; and proposing and driving solutions in complex transactions required. The position will be responsible for, among other things, strategizing with internal clients on transaction structure, overseeing real estate and related transactions across the Company, managing outside counsel and internal employees, and working closely with internal clients at the corporate and division levels.
