Manage a wide variety of civil litigation matters, including commercial disputes, personal injury, asbestos, toxic tort, employment, and product liability.
Manage and oversee discovery coordination, responses related to government inquiries and third-party subpoenas.
Provide direction and oversight on electronic discovery collection, holds, and compliance.
Analyze and advise on claims and potential disputes, including requests or tenders for indemnity and contractual disputes.
Assist with counsel selection, manage outside counsel, coordinate litigation strategies, and control litigation-related costs.
Draft, edit and negotiate various commercial contracts, including but not limited to long term supply agreements and various purchasing documents
Coordinate with Business Unit Legal Counsel and Resource Unit Legal Counsel to efficiently and effectively provide legal services to the Companyâ€™s business units
Develop a wide variety of general commercial counseling skills by being able to identify and analyze issues in areas such as antitrust, trade compliance, anticorruption and others
Law degree (JD) from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA), and is currently a member in good standing of the bar of a State, a Territory of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
Minimum 8 years working for a law firm or a corporate legal department, with wide ranging experience in conducting or managing civil litigation through all phases; and otherwise providing general corporate advice to business clients. Experience must include at least 5 years of commercial litigation practice.
