Locations: Broomfield CO, Denver CO, Burlington MA or San Antonio, TXThe Development and Engineering Legal Team within Oracle's legal department is responsible for providing legal support to all of Oracle’s Development and Engineering Community for complex software and hardware. Corporate Counsel works closely with Oracle Development executives to complete agreements between Oracle and its strategic customers. Corporate Counsel coordinates the efforts of various internal organizations to ensure that Oracle contracts comply with company policies, and takes a leadership role in defining policies, practices, and procedures within the company. About the Corporate Counsel – Development & Engineering Position: As an individual contributor in the Development and Engineering Legal Team, you will join a collaborative group of attorneys with an interesting and diverse technology law practice focusing on transactions involving development, product roll out, and open source software licensing. Accordingly, this position is best suited to an attorney with a significant IP background, and commercial negotiating and contracting experience who has the ability to manage a variety of tasks, evaluate alternatives quickly, and provide top quality legal assistance and support to executive-level clients.
