Overview: This position leads the Contracts function within Southern Research and is responsible for developing and implementing appropriate strategies to achieve the business goals established by the organization. The Contracts department encompasses both pre-award and post-award functions, including business volume preparation, proposal compliance and submission, negotiation, management and non-technical administration of all Southern Research grants and contracts.

Compensation: Competitive compensation commensurate with experience.
Experience: 10+ years of relevant work experience in the field of proposal and contract preparation, negotiation and administration. BS in business, accounting, finance or other business-related area and/or J.D. with admittance to applicable State Bar. In-depth knowledge of federal procurement regulations (FAR, DFARS, and other agency FAR supplements) and experience with commercial business principles.
