Reporting directly to the General Counsel and working closely with owner Robert Earl, the Deputy General Counsel will support Planet Hollywood® and its affiliates in a variety of legal matters including digital entertainment, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, licensing and franchising matters domestically and abroad. In addition, the Deputy General Counsel will provide legal support for start-up companies launched under the Earl Enterprises® umbrella and will regularly interact and negotiate with high-profile entertainment attorneys. The successful candidate will be business-minded and have experience working in an entrepreneurial environment, and will thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment, be willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done and be comfortable assisting on various legal matters even if outside their areas of expertise. Substantial work in and strong understanding of Florida real estate law also is required.

Competitive base salary and discretionary bonus.
12-15+ years of experience handling transactional and real estate legal matters in Florida, including experience at a top-tier law firm, and experience working in an entrepreneurial environment. In-house experience strongly is preferred. Experience working in the entertainment industry, including experience working for digital entertainment companies and negotiating with entertainment attorneys, strongly is preferred. The ideal candidate will also be business-minded and able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing entrepreneurial environment.
Florida candidates strongly are preferred, though exceptionally strong relocation candidates may be considered.
Candidates must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in the State of Florida or have the ability to become licensed in-house counsel.
