Candidate will be responsible for assisting DaVita Strategic Business Initiatives (SBIs) lead attorneys with administering the legal and compliance due diligence process for SBI healthcare transactions; in addition this position will also support DaVita Hospital Service Group with day to day legal support. This position will report directly to VP, Associate General Counsel - SBIs.
This position requires strong organizational, strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
Assist with administration of the SBI Referral Source Arrangement Review process
Provide day to day legal support to the DaVita Hospital Services Group operations including contract negotiation and management
Partner with and advise Team Quest (compliance) in support of the Referral Source Arrangement Review process and the enterprise Referral Source Arrangement review process
Organize, advise and execute on special initiatives as directed
Identify, manage and advise on projects, including information gathering, communication with stakeholders and tracking progress of goals and milestones, prepare draft documents, PowerPoint presentations, Excel files, and email communications summarizing project status, risk analysis, and guidance
Assist with the management of outside counsel and the review and analysis of law firm invoices
Perform legal research as directed
Assist in contract negotiation and administration for SBIs as directed
Identify opportunities to optimize processes and enable a highly efficient use of attorney time

Education / Certifications
The successful candidate will hold a law degree with strong academic credentials and will have obtained an undergraduate degree from a college or university of recognized standing. S/he will be licensed in good standing to practice law in at least one state within the United States.
Bachelor's degree in related field
